I am Marcel van Dorst, a conservatory certified guitar teacher.
Because of my education and my experience in guitar teaching I know exactly what it takes
to teach you how to play the guitar well. I'm also specialized in teaching young children.
Playing the guitar has everything to do with feeling and hearing,
it therefore makes no sense to start with unnecessary theory.
In my guitar lessons you immediately start making music, where my knowledge about teaching guitar techniques will help you a lot.
I adapt my guitar lesson to the skills of the student, so that you learn to play the guitar in a pleasant way. No guitar lesson is the same. You learn to play what you like and what helps you further. Therefore no group lessons, but private lessons or duo lessons.
My guitar method "Guitar Train" is used throughout Europe.
It is an excellent startingpoint for learning to play the guitar in a musical and fun way.
You can already start taking guitar lessons from the age of 6, but even if you are 65 it is possible to learn to play the guitar.

About me
My name is Marcel van Dorst, I am an experienced, enthusiastic guitar teacher.
After successfully completing my studies at the
Fontys School of the Arts by Hein Sanderink,
I immediately started teaching. Both on the acoustic and electric guitar.
Besides my own guitar school, I also give guitar lessons Phoenix culture in Sint Oedenrode and Schijndel.
I am also a publisher of music books under the name 6stringmusic.
I've played on Dutch and foreign stages with the band below.
